Job Description

Summary

Global IT lead on the ground. Act as onsite account manager to be responsible for effective collaboration between Global IT and the business functions. Take over the role of a project manager for some key projects on site. Also be responsible for managing the infrastructure team on site. Role will involve people management, account management and project management aspects. Main objectives of the role is to ensure adequate, reliable and consistent IT services are delivered at the site.

Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth onsite IT services in application and infrastructure areas by engaging with relevant local business stakeholders, users and global IT organizations
- Develop and enhance relationships with key stakeholders, actively managing expectations & monitoring satisfaction levels
- Highlight issues and follow escalation matrix to get issues resolved
- Manage infrastructure budgets and other infrastructure admin activities
- Manage onsite IT resources responsible for infrastructure and help-desk support by providing coaching with work prioritization & decision making
- Optimizing process standardization and automation
- Support utilization of Google tools
- Establish project plan and project team by confirming project scope, estimating resources and defining roles and responsibilities
- Lead business analysis workshops for projects / enhancements and align with global IT and business team on solutions for key gaps
- Document business processes and help in development for test scripts
- Develop comprehensive requirement specifications and coordinate with global IT team for development
- Develop & sustain power users by providing them with training and support them on end user training
- Support business validation and testing
- Enforce compliance with project & security governance policies and procedures

Requirements

- Proven experience in project management
- Good understanding of business processes in a FMCG company
- 8-10 years experience in SAP implementation or support in a global organization.
- Experience in SAP SD/ MM is preferred
- Knowledge of new trends in the IT industry
- Possesses continuous improvement mindset
- Display flexibility in taking up various assignments
- Develops strong engagement with key stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline
- Business level verbal and written proficiency in both English and Japanese
