RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct responsibility for finance and accounting for regional operation overseeing staff in the region ensuring the appropriateness and optimization of our processes, people and systems.

  • Preparing the Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasts

  • Meet with senior leadership monthly to review actual results and refine quarterly forecasts

  • Maintain a coordinated financial budget / forecasting / reporting timetable across all entities and drive both the review process in terms of content summary, actionable items and executive scheduling

  • Prepare monthly reports to senior management and Board of Directors

  • Identify key business drivers, their P&L, cash flow or Balance Sheet impact, and the bottom line impact to the company

  • Continually improve the current process, tools and methodology for budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting to improve efficiency, accuracy, timeliness and level of support for the business

  • Stay abreast of key business initiatives and their impact on the operating plan and budgets

  • Ensure standardization of processes across all business units and develop worldwide monthly and quarterly variance reporting packages for senior management

  • Interface with corporate and global leaders


REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive finance, accounting, cash management and financial analysis experience

  • Smart, high-energy, team player with a proven track record of exceptional collaboration with others, including strong leadership, strategic, and analytical skills

  • Thrives in a fast paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Must be self-motivated and highly resourceful; not dependent on large corporate staffs and resources

  • Ability to interface with teams in a distributed, geographically diverse environment and to drive results within a diverse cultural background and/or remotely located

  • Ability to conceptualize, develop and subsequently implement best practices or processes throughout the region and potentially globally
