Job Description

The professional will work in the Tokyo area, managing long-term engagements as well as providing leadership for offshore teams. We are looking for someone who has experience in hands-on management of large projects including local and offshore development teams, including third party vendors.

Requirements

[Key responsibilities]
- Native communication skills in Japanese and business level for English (contact with several different management levels)
- Scope (several projects and complex application development/support)
- Scheduling (several projects and support engagements with challenging SLAs)
- High quality standard and risk mitigation skills
- Cost and resources in a very dynamic matrix environment
- Ability and agility to track, monitor and resolve project and support issues and to master communication providing sound Service Level indicators and great client satisfaction
- Enthusiasm for problem solving, tireless work for continuous improvement, constantly putting the bar at higher level to deliver more value to our business partner
- Work cohesively with other Business, Vendors and IT groups on projects/support related matters and jointly determine engagement strategy
- Building team relationships, managing dynamics to help develop skills for quick and continuous growth
- Excellent listening, coaching, group facilitation and conflict resolution skills
- Well developed interpersonal and client relationships skills and managing expectations
- Managing of technologies including:
・Web-based (Open Source, Adobe EM, MS SharePoint, PHP/Drupal, Symfony, Magento)
・Net/J2EE
・SQL/Oracle database
・Mobile (iOS/Android) is a plus

[Experience Requirements]
- Experience working on end-to-end solutions driving the entire process with brand managers and information technology stakeholders
- Being a digital evangelist (web and/or mobile)
- Solid knowledge of current digital ecosystems being part of most web and mobile solutions
- Experience in driving ideation sessions
