Job Description・Lead commercialization/industrialization of new products reflecting the chef’s creativities and the marketing plan in cooperation with co-manufacturers.
・Work closely with the chefs, marketing, QA, procurement and other related functions to develop aligned actions and solutions for the projects.
・Execute the tasks along with product development process effectively from idea generation to specification finalization meeting the project requirements by feasibility study, process estimation, ingredient evaluation/development, prototype development, sensory evaluation, stability test/assessment, productability establishment, the other required experiment, trial, and investigation.
・Work with the suppliers to develop the customized ingredients so that the chefs and the co-manufacturers can create the differentiate products and recipes for our business.
Requirements・Bachelor or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent.
・At least 7 years of relevant working experience in the food industry.
・Practical experience of laboratory and/or factory trials for product development and/or quality improvement, and food manufacturing.
・Basic understanding about product development cycle, production processes, terms and equipment used in food industry.
・Basic knowledge of food laws, food regulations, and the related guideline like the labeling in food products.
