Job Description
This role sits within the Japan Marketing function and reports into the BU Marketing Director.

The position will champion the digital transformation of BU Japan.
The role has the mission to help BU to meet its business and marketing objectives through effective Digital Transformation, ultimately accelerating growth and driving local competitive advantage through world-class strategy and capabilities, including:

Data & analytics
Digital activation and media
Digital content excellence
Digital measurement & performance tracking

- This role will Be an advocate for the organization’s Global Digital Business Transformation vision, initiatives and value proposition, helping to remove barriers and align all company and partner teams

- Conceive and own overall Country Digital Transformation plan, establish and lead business processes, programs and projects, resource allocation, KPIs, and governance activities to measure the progress, implement executive decisions rapidly, and ensure quality;
- Grow and track countrywide digital capabilities across all relevant Marketing, Sales and Support functions;
- Work hand-in-hand with Global and Country Marketing and Media teams to design and execute Digital Marketing programs that align with Country priorities and global and regional guidelines; establish effective project governance and ways of working;
- Ensure Brands Digital Activation is impactful, leveraging Owned, Earned and Paid digital channels (SEM, Video, Social, Programmatic); orchestrate flawless execution, supporting brands in their engagement with third-party vendors where needed;
- Design and implement robust consumer data capture, analysis and modeling framework, in line with global guidelines and fully leveraging global tools, to identify opportunities to optimize site performance, improve customer experience, acquire valuable customer insights, and drive consumers from awareness to purchase;
- Support Country Ecommerce initiatives via dedicated digital marketing programs and KPIs'
- Live by, communicate and reinforce winning principles and behaviors for Digital Transformation such as test and learn and build for the future;
- Build thought leadership for the country in the Digital spaceIt requires the following experiences and/or knowledge on digital marketing;

- Ten + years` experience in relevant digital transformation role in agency / consulting / client environment or a mix of those
- Proven leadership skills, high levels of resilience-Strong communication skills
– in particular, proven ability to communicate with a wide breadth of audiences: marketing, media, technology partners, and agencies
- Solid project management experience with a proven track record of success in driving business outcomes in similar environments
- Experience in leading Digital Transformation, developed in consumer space and with a focus on Direct to Consumer Communication
- Data-fluency and demonstrated understanding of the adoption of technology and its impact to operating models and organizational structures
-DSP and Programmatic media buy knowledge, including Facebook PowerEditor and AdWords expertise
-Ability to effectively translate marketing objectives into buying tactics
