Your Role and Responsibilities:
The main responsibility of this position is to lead the new “Parts Arrangement (IT)” team for APAC, based in Japan. The aim of the team is to ensure a stable operation of the current parts arrangement systems while modernizing the current IT systems in close collaboration with the business partners and in line with the IT strategy.
In addition to the above, you will also be responsible for:
-Build, train, and manage internal and external resources required for the modernization of the IT landscape with required technical and functional competence
-Drive the modernization of the IT landscape for the parts arrangement area.
-Successfully manage and develop internal and external supplier teams with clear performance targets and delivery management structure
-Analyze, understand, tailor & provide solution to needs of key business partners
-Ensure delivery of topics within budget and timeline and transition to responsible line function for application support and maintenance
-Effective supplier management with KPIs

IT knowledge and project management background are both highly preferred in addition to previous experience leading global projects.
RequirementsPractical Knowledge and Experience
-MBA and/or BA from a reputed University in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field; or 5+ year’s equivalent knowledge gained in the performance of similar duties in this career field.
-Demonstrated experience that has provided you with the necessary skills to understand business management practices and Information Technology, sufficient to perform at the level required by this position.
-Experience with Agile/Lean Project Management methodology.
-Experience in managing IT projects in the area of SAP and mainframe
-Knowledge in the area of Production or Engineering IT
-Previous leadership experience, problem solving and analytical skills
-Excellent business partner and customer orientation, communication skills, interpersonal skills & intercultural competence
