Job Description
Assist the IT Manager and Systems Administrator in the day-to-day support of all learning and operational technology systems. Serve as the primary point of contact between the IT Department and end-users (teachers, students, parents, and staff). Reports directly to the IT Manager with guidance and training conducted by the Systems Administrator.
● Answer Help Desk tickets (phone, email, in-person)
● Setup, image, and configure MacBook Air, iPad, and Apple TVs
● Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and apps (MacOS and iOS)
● Support and troubleshoot network, wifi, printers, and projectors
● Provision users, reset passwords, and troubleshoot permission/access issues
● Other administrative duties as required by the IT Department (spare parts organization, inventory, digital/file organization, etc)

● Must be comfortable working around children in a school environment (ages 5~15)
● Two or more years of Help Desk experience
● MacOS setup, support, and troubleshooting (comprises 90% of all systems)
● iPad (iOS) setup, support, and troubleshooting experience
● Critical-thinker and problem-solver
● Fluent in English
● Computer Imaging, Linux Admin, DB Admin, VOIP, CCNA, Active Directory, Google Suite for Education experience is a plus (not required)
● Programming experience (html, php, js, angularjs, jquery) is a plus (not required)
● Japanese language ability is a plus (not required)
