The Brands products are sold in more than 50 countries and territories through select department and specialty stores, 138 Company-owned and operated retail stores, and select online stores, including Company-owned websites.

Job Description
IT Manager Japan will lead Company IT Team to support Japan business functions (incl. Office & Retail Stores). He/ She will work closely with business partners to understand their needs, and making sure our IT service/solutions are delivered in a timely manner within aligned budget/resource and Global IT strategy.

The position will be involved in the company’s dynamic evolution of its business processes and systems that support our omni-channel business model. Aligning with the Company’s strategy and Global/Regional IT roadmap to roll out Continuous Improvement initiatives.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

30%
Leading the team: to provide leadership/vision to IT Team; to build agile IT organization to grow together with the company; to provide a platform to help the team be successful.

25%
Partnership with the business: to work closely with business partners, ensuring our business can get IT support wherever it's required; to take initiates to provide business with solutions that helps bring productivity/efficiency to the company.

25%
Business as usual: to run IT team as business; continuous improve IT service delivery and IT maturity level within the team.

20%
Vendor/Budget Mgmt.: to maintain governance model and engage with our key IT vendors, making sure our IT Service is measured according to the contract/SLA, and IT cost efficiency.

Requirements
Education & Any Certifications Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or information systems etc. related disciplines

Year(s) of Experience & Background Required
7+ years of IT experience with 3 years of people management experience; MNC background is a must; Retail / FMCG industry background is preferred; experience in leading cross-function IT projects will be a plus.

Functional & Technical Competencies
Has good understanding of Retail industry end-to-end process, esp. for ERP knowledge (Oracle Application preferred); Basic infrastructure knowledge; Leadership and inflence to business partners; people mgmt./vendor mgmt./budget mgmt. skills; English: fluent
