Job Description

We are looking for someone who can handle maintenance and technical questions Internally in Japanese and English for our employees to work on their designated tasks.

Main Responsibility:
・You will be supporting Linux and Windows desktop environments across the business supporting the development, administration and sales teams.
・Help select and deploy new applications to ensure smooth operation.
・Secure desktop and laptop environments against threats both in-campus and for employees on remote work.
・Work closely with your team so that they can provide support for you and you can provide support for them when required.

Required Skills
Operational experience in desktop support and Incident response/Change management
Experience with Windows & Linux desktop user support and administration.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills and patience
Strong persistence and desire to find and eliminate root causes.
English – Business Level (Articulation for technical issues

Preferable Skills
Experience with basic server administration and / or cloud services (e.g. Active directory, user groups permissions, linux servers, office 365, google apps, etc.)
Understand of network fundamentals (dns, ip, vlans, switching, routing)
Japanese Preferred but not hard requirement
