Job Description
To act as a catalyst of logistics and to lead and drive smooth supply chain. To manage freight forwarders and customs brokers in achieving appropriate lead time and cost. Being effective communicator for internal and external persons involved to take the initiative in providing excellent logistics.

-5+ year experience in a global brand logistics with emphasis on import/export operation.
-Working experience in a global logistics company such as airfreight forwarder is evaluated as well.
-Fluent in Japanese & English
-Computer Skills: MS Words, Excel (Pivot, Function), Power Point, etc.

Additional Job Information
-Manage external service providers (customs broker, airfreight forwarders) to coordinate smooth transportation of import/export for merchandise & non-merchandise with appropriate lead time and cost
-Regularly communicate with the chief workers of 3PL warehouses to give them clear direction on deliveries/returns
-Apply for CITES/Country of Origin to government authorities to coordinate inter-company stock transfers requested by merchandising control team (contribute optimization of worldwide stock rebalance)
-Coordinate data setup and import/export customs clearance in cooperation with respective departments and external customs broker
-Regularly communicate with local merchandise controllers to predict volume of cargo to be imported and to define priorities of products.
-Regularly communicate with HQ logistics to fine-tune process.
-Co-work with HQ logistics to coordinate annual airfreight tender.
-Conduct Purchase Order creation in SAP
-Summarize import/export logistics cost and report to local finance on monthly basis
-Train temp staff to routinize process
-Be knowledgeable of evolution on logistics and utilization of technology into retail field.
