Product Manager, Pipeline Marketing Specialty Care BU

Job Description
Basic Purpose of the Job*

Ÿ Reporting to the Head of Specialty Pipeline Marketing, this position is responsible for leading the launch excellence process for assigned Immunology / CNS products indications in Japan ensuring organizational readiness to maximize the product launch from the early stage of launch preparation

Ÿ This position serves as the Brand lead for all pre-launch marketing activities related to assigned products including prelaunch planning, commercial preparation, launch planning and execution

Ÿ The purpose is to co-develop and execute comprehensive pre-launch marketing strategies and plans, and drive, steer and implement cross-functional launch activities in partnership with key functions including Medicine, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Market Access, Patient Advocacy, etc

Ÿ Working closely with Marketing & Medical leadership, at both the local and corporate levels

Own the launch process, ensuring proper engagement from all functions (includingMedicine, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Market Access, Patient Advocacy, etc.) and continuous collaboration with key stakeholders to drive a cross functional launch activities

Effective cross-functional teamwork and engagement to ensure organizational readiness to maximize the product launch, being aligned with functional accountability

Assess and uncover the opportunities of assigned pipeline products to address medical unmet needs

Marketing aspects including differentiation to be reflected in relevant documents such as Target Product Profile (TPP)

Calculate the potential forecast and develop business cases of assigned pipeline products based upon comprehensive assumptions along with the upsides and risks, and (if applicable) prepare scenarios to maximize the lifetime value of the assigned product including launch sequencing on the basis of development plan, pricing and regulatory paths

Solid forecast to be shared among key stakeholders, including key levers to maximize the potential of assigned product

Monitor, analyse and interpret trends in the market, customer insights, and competitive landscape

Market, customer and competitive insight to be shared among key stakeholders concisely and in a timely manner

Identify profile external experts to define a clear strategy for external expert engagement (EEE) and create sound EEE activities (e.g. Investigator meeting, Advisory board, Scientific interview, publication etc.)

Identification of key external experts in line with specific objectives, robust EEE strategy to maximize the potential of assigned pipeline product, and effective engagement tactics with external experts

Co-lead development of an integrated brand plan (IBP)

Contribution to the development of global IBP, aligned with commercial requirements

Represent the assigned pipeline product manager in all communication with internal and external stakeholders

Leadership feedback from local management
