Job DescriptionThe Regional Logistics Operations Manager role is part of the regional management team. The role of this regional team is to support and empower logistic sites & sales markets within your region in the best way enabling more local ownership. This team will support logistic sites teams by understanding and providing all commercial planning needs and collaborating on the operational strategy. The regional team will set the strategy with global omni operations but will take full ownership of their regional planning and execution.
The Distribution Centre (DC) managers & Logistics managers within the region’s responsibilities will directly report to the Regional Logistics Operations Manager.
Follow up on all internal KPIs and external 3PL warehouse contractual service agreements to meet our customer promise.
Follow up on volumes, efficiency and the associated warehouse cost together with regular budget analysis throughout the region to identify trends early enough to take appropriate actions.
Investigate specific warehouse processes where we hit problems, IT issues or operational constraints and identify actions to improve.
Escalate on priority level to global sales operations all process slow downs within your region and the effects on performance.
Take ownership of and follow up on the regional warehouse P&L for both retail and e-Commerce.
Inform and demand that all warehouses collect & receive all the necessary planning information from local Head of Merch.
Be the main speaking partner for global sales operations and local warehouse management teams.
Be the owner of key 3PL warehouse relationships ensuring a sustainable and effective communication plan.
Ensure we always have enough capacity in our regional warehouse network.
Identify vendor synergies across multiple markets to improve results in a sustainable way.
With all regional logistic functions, regional & global sales operations to ensure local warehouse management teams have all the necessary commercial planning information for future changes.
