Job Description
• Develop the country communications strategy and manage its implementation in alignment with global and regional communications strategy
• Manage the development and delivery of internal and external country communications campaigns
• Define and formulate key messages and identify channels of distribution to maximize impact
• Manage the coordination, editing, and distribution of appropriate communications
• Be responsible for the public relations, media relations for the institution
• Lead and handle all crisis communications
• Facilitate and manage engagement with alumni networks and other stakeholders
• Work closely with business leads and teams to gain buyin with country communications strategy
• Spearhead planning with directors and business, marketing leads to maximize opportunities

Requirements
• Degree in communications, journalism, marketing or possess relevant experience
• 5-8 years of experience in communications (internal, external, crisis communications) in a large organization
• Experience in arts, culture, education industry a plus
• Excellent written and spoken Japanese and English
• People management skills
