Job Description
Sell power protection products (UPS, etc.) and systems within the Japan domestic market in
accordance with the local product group strategy. Develop and maintain new sales opportunities
and customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer problems/inquiries with
technical solution and proposal which is conducted by him/her. Performs analytic and diagnostic
studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs. Proposes technical
solutions for complex inquiries.

1. Sales Engineering
Offers technical advice and provides comment on inquiry specifications for
customers/channels/Sales Engineers with regard to the companies products/systems/ applications.

- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships (from technical to administrative
functions) to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product
offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout
the sales process, including post-sale.
3. Sales
- Ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals through effective
product/solution presentations and negotiations. Communicates details in accordance with
the companies offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
4. Collaboration
- Collaborate among sales team and also cross group, BU and division in order to deliver
maximum sales result for his team and others.

Work experience and knowledge
 Minimum 5 years track record in sales or engineering section to demonstrate capability to
achieve business results. B2B Solution Sales experience. (preferred)
 Market and products specific knowledge (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Power electronics products
- Basic knowledge of Marketing and Sales
Language Skills
 Native Japanese
 English proficiency both in written and oral (TOEIC 700)
 University degree (electrical engineering background if not power electronics is preferable)
