Job Description

OBJECTIVE

·         Perform a series of Treasury operations to meet established time lines and standards in order to maintain the fiscal records and systems of the company so as to meet requirements in legal aspects and corporate/company policy/procedure/practices.

·         Provide financial input on decision making issues affecting the company’s business.

·         Assist Credit Risk Management team via collecting, summarizing, compiling and evaluating financial data of customers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Handle and record a variety of appropriately authorized cash issuing transactions and securities transactions.

·         Monitor market values of securities held by the company and maintain the securities book.

·         Monitor performance of company’s pension plan asset management and propose modifications of asset management strategies.

·         Maintain and manage the corporate credit card system and the expense reimbursement system e.g. Concur.

·         Handle cash, cheques and promissory notes to ensure proper security.

·         Support financial input on decision making issues affecting the company’s business; e.g. evaluation of potential acquisitions and/or mergers and investments.

·         Assist Credit Risk Management team via collecting, summarizing, compiling and evaluating financial data of customers.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field

·         3+ years of experience in finance/accounting or related field

·         Ideally: Basic knowledge of enterprise valuation and investment management
