This position is at one of the world's most recognized top lifescience company.

• Handle day to day accounting operations and general ledger tasks.
• Work with a GL manager to prepare journal entries, financial reporting packages and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead the accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing.
• Coordinate with internal/ external auditors and other accounting members to ensure smooth audit process.
• Work with external tax consultants to prepare the various tax returns.
• Proactivly participate in ad-hoc projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent is preferred.
• Boki 2nd Grade or similar experience is required.
• Experience in accounting especially with GL work.
• Fluent proficiency in Japanese.
• Business level proficiency in English.
• Experience in ERP (SAP/Oracle) is desired.
• Experience in analytical tools (Hyperion) is a plus.
