This company is one of the leading manufacturers of winter sports gear – ski, skiboots, and bindings. In 2004, the company went through a merger to become the company they are today – the manufacturer of snowboards and ski with the HQ in Seattle. It was founded 60 years ago and the business has been increasing each year. They have 30 people total in the company with many divisions (sales, marketing, shipping, finance, etc). The company is looking to diversify in the future and tackle not only winter sports but sports in all seasons.
Job Description
Responsibilities and Key Tasks:
Account manager is required to report all of accounting figures properly to HQ and take care of some of general affairs. Especially good consulting skill to that General Manager about all accounting and financial plans is necessary.
• Budget and Report
Build up annual PL/BS budget
Submit “Flash Report” every month and Forecast every quarter to HQ
Control sales/orders/inventory in both numeral and amount.
Submit one time reports, from time to time, for requests from HQ
• Accounting and General Affairs
Ordinary company’s accounting works
Control some general affairs of company with supports of staff
• Support General Manager
Give proper advices to the General Manager about sales and PL/BS forecast
Requirements
Requirements:
• BA or BS from a leading university required
• Minimum of five years’ experience in accounting and packaged financial report to foreign companies
• Good knowledge about company’s general affairs
• Native fluency in Japanese with strong communication skills in English language both verbal and in writing
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical capability
• Finding issues and solving ability.
• Energetic, friendly, and good team player
• Strong sense of responsibility to complete all reports by closing dates
